There are farmers, gardeners, and then there are the rest of us.  We are the black thumb to potted plants.  We actually go on vacation and happily neglect our yards.  We plant vegetables and then allow the neighborhood rabbits to feast.  And it’s OK!

To top it off we are going to do all of these things and still have a yard our family and friends will be envious of.  Love yourself for every little bit of work you do.  If you bagged 5 bags of yard debris, but the yard is still covered in fall leaves, no worries!  You’ll do more tomorrow.  Go get a glass of wine and admire the pile of debris you DID clean up today!  It’s a LOT!

Gardening is something we all do even if you simply mow your lawn. It’s not something we typical homeowners feel the need to get training for. And many of us think it’s too complicated to have that beautiful Better Homes and Garden’s yard. I’m here to show you how to do it!

You are about to make your yard; your passion, personal escape, and test garden. You will even do it on a BUDGET!  Don’t try to be perfect. Plant and then dig back up. It’s ok!

So go buy a cute garden shovel set. Mine is pink and I covet it as my most prized possession! You can too!
